2012 - 24 Futures and 5 Challengers played, semi-final in Yokohama Challenger and 2 Futures titles from 4 finals

2013 - 3 Futures finals with 2 titles, first Challenger final in Yeongwol and a place in the Top 250 at the end of the season

2014 - Maiden ATP quarter-final in Vina del Mar, losing to Almagro in straight sets. Seville Challenger final and 4 more quarter-finals for the place in the Top 200

2015 - Poor results in the first 4 months but he won Vercelli Challenger and another one in Furth, after qualifying for the Roland Garros. Semi-final in Braunschweig and another one in Casablanca, followed by the second round in Valencia ATP event as a qualifier. Closed the season with final in Kobe and title in Yokohama, that pushed him inside the Top 100

2016 - Couldn't stay in the Top 100 at the end of the season but he won his first Grand Slam match at Roland Garros and first Masters 1000 triumph at Monte Carlo, as a qualifier. His first big result of the season came in August when he won Cordenons Challenger, and he played in the final in Seville as well, losing to Casper Ruud

2017 - 4 ATP wins, including the quarter-final run in Estoril, and he qualified for the main draw at Roland Garros, beating Jerzy Janowicz before falling to Pablo Carreno Busta. Lost in the second round of the US Open to Nadal in 4 sets and he lifted 1 Challenger crown from 5 finals, winning Buenos Aires and ending on the losing side in Maui, Lisbon, Ningbo, and Canberra, which was enough to keep him in the Top 100 at the end of the season
