Holger Rune was born in Gentofte, Denmark on April 29, 2003. During his career he won three singles titles, including the prestigious Paris Masters 2022. In September 2018 he reached the quarter-finals with Denmark in the Junior Davis Cup and was eliminated 3-0 by Lorenzo Musetti's Italy. In the spring of 2019 he won two consecutive Grade 1 tournaments and in June he triumphed in the Roland Garros junior tournament, beating Toby Kodat in the final.
