Holger's mother Aneke revealed the news, announcing Becker and Carlsen as his only coaches ahead of Montpellier. Becker did not travel to Australia, and Rune worked with Luthi, who spent 15 years in the coaching box of Roger Federer.
The Dane expressed his delight to have Federer's former coach in his box after the first-round Melbourne triumph, acknowledging the Swiss as his childhood idol.

Boris is well-known for his three-year role with Novak Djokovic, leading the Serb toward many notable titles. The Dane started the season in Brisbane, reaching the final and settling with the runner-up prize after falling to Grigor Dimitrov in a tight duel.
