The Rotterdam Open, officially known as the ABN AMRO Open for sponsorship reasons, is a tennis tournament held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Born in 1974 as an indoor synthetic tournament, since 2000 it has been played on indoor hard courts.
It is part of the ATP Tour 500 tournament series and is the most prestigious Dutch men's tennis tournament. Swiss tennis player Roger Federer (2005, 2012, 2018) is currently the most successful singles player.
The 1984 final between Jimmy Connors and Ivan Lendl was interrupted during the second set due to a bomb scare and was never concluded. Since 2004, the tournament director has been former Dutch tennis player Richard Krajicek.
