Vanderbilt coach Scott Brown said after the defeat "Congratulations to Ohio State for playing a great game. The atmosphere was fantastic and exactly the environment we wanted to compete in. We chose to come to Ohio State for a reason, we wanted to go up against one of the best teams in the country and see how we measured up and show these guys can take on anyone.
I'm very proud of this team for how they fought on the field and on the sidelines and how we went about our business. We didn't hold back and we were close to making the match very interesting on many pitches. This team is tough, and if we keep fighting day in and day out, I like our chances against anyone. Now we move forward and focus fully on checking off the boxes and preparing for Oregon or Boise State tomorrow. Fight Dores!"
Fell to Ohio State, but we bounce back tomorrow‼️🤧
