Novak Djokovic beat Taylor Fritz in four sets to advance to his 11th Australian Open semifinal. The Serbian player suffered especially in the first two sets, managing to manage the American's forehand, and then dominating in the last two sets, winning the match with the final score of 7-6 4-6 6-2 6-3.

Nole is now waiting for the winner of the challenge between Jannik Sinner and Andrey Rublev. The first game of the match was a river game in which Taylor Fritz managed to hold serve after 16 minutes of play, saving 3 break points.

In the tie break, the 10-time champion from Melbourne finished 7-3. Fritz remained in the match in the second set, forcing his opponent's serve at 2-0, then extending to 5-3 by saving all the break points conceded, closing the second set 6-4.

In the third set Djokovic immediately forced his opponent's serve, taking a 2-0 lead, consolidating the lead and literally demolishing Fritz 6-2. The Serbian gave no chances even in the 4th set, won 6-3, keeping his opponent's serve and forehand at bay and qualifying for the semi-finals.

In the post-match interview with Nick Kyrgios, Nole entertained the crowd at Rod Laver Arena by revealing what he will do once he leaves the locker room, together with the Australian tennis player.

"Sinner is playing probably his best tennis, he had a great end to the season. We played a couple of times in Turin and once in the Davis Cup. I expect him to always play at the highest level, but I'll tell you, I'll get you some popcorn, so you and I can relax on the couch and enjoy the match between Sinner and Andrey Rublev!" said Nole.
