Rain in Shanghai: Ben Shelton invites the ball girl under his umbrella! WATCH

Ben Shelton and Hubert Hurkacz's doubles match against Cameron Norrie and Rinky Hijikata at the ATP Masters 1000 in Shanghai was suspended due to rain and the young American tennis player showed his heart of gold. During the rain suspension, Shelton invited a young ball girl under his umbrella to prevent her from getting wet.

As for the men's singles, Ben Shelton wins against Roman Safiullin in a comeback with the result of 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
The American will face world number 4 Jannik Sinner in the round of 16.
Despite a not entirely positive moment, an important victory also for Casper Ruud, who beat Christopher Eubanks 6-4, 6-2. Victories also for Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov.
For the latter in the round of 32 there is Grigor Dimitrov, who defeated the Australian Vukic in two sets with a 6-4, 6-3.
Among the unexpected exits, there is that of Jiri Leheckha, beaten by Diego Schwartzman in three sets with the result of 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in favor of the Argentine.
Lorenzo Sonego was unable to repeat his excellent performance against Frances Tiafoe and had to surrender in the third round of the Shanghai Master 1000.
Nicolas Jarry took revenge on the Turin player after the Davis Cup match, obtaining the pass to the round of 16.
The first set was decisive and had an important impact on the final outcome of the match. Without conceding a break, the two went to a tie-break and in the end it was the 27-year-old from Santiago de Chile who came out on top by playing the most important points well.
The 28-year-old player suffered the blow and was unable to react as in the last match against the American. Jarry continued to put his opponent in difficulty, taking home the score 6-2. In the next round he will find a rediscovered Diego Schwartzman.
