Jannik Sinner practically confirmed, during an interview with Italian program TG1, broadcast by the Rai 1 television channel, that he will play in the Paris Olympics 2024. "I will play for myself, but also for Italy. It is always a great honor to represent it," Jannik said.

The Italian naturally mentioned his family when talking about himself, in particular his adoptive brother Marc: "He is perhaps the first best friend I have. When you are in difficulty he always tells you the truth. I am always grateful to have a brother and even luckier who is three years older than me."

Now Jannik goes back to work again

Once the little break on the snow is over, it's time for Jannik Sinner to focus on tennis again.

The South Tyrolean has already arrived in Monte-Carlo, the city in which he will carry out the final preparation phases before leaving for Australia. Sinner also spoke in the interview about skiing, one of his great passions: "They recognize me even on the slopes.

But I always remember where I come from, my family, my friends. This also certainly gives me the confidence that I have remained the same as a boy." Work continues in the gym and on the pitch for the Italian athlete together with the staff led by coaches Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill, who have rather clear ideas on the types of improvements for 2024: "Service, but also going to the net more often and varying the game.

Maybe do a few more slices with your backhand," are the shots the Italian number 4 in the world plans to focus on the most. We recall Sinner will not play official ATP tournament, before the Australian Open 2024. The Melbourne Major will be the first tennis event the Italian will play in the upcoming season.

Also Carlitos Alcaraz decided to play his first official 2024 tournament at the Australian Open.
