Milos Raonic, 32, admits he is still "a little bit bitter" over his 2016 Wimbledon final loss against Andy Murray. In 2016, Raonic made his first Grand Slam final at The All England Club. After upsetting Wimbledon icon Roger Federer in the semifinal, Raonic was also hoping to stun Murray and leave London with his first Grand Slam title.
Unfortunately for Raonic, he didn't have his big day against Murray as the Briton defeated the Canadian 6-4 7-6 (3) 7-6 (2). Raonic, who was heavily hampered by injuries in recent years, is set to play at Wimbledon for the first time since 2019.

“I’m still a little bit bitter about it. I still haven’t had that chance to enjoy it. It’s the closest I’ve been by far and there’s really two matches both of them standing out against Andy: that final and then the semi-final in Australia that year.
I thought maybe I was even playing better in Australia at that point. Those two really stand out to me and, I don’t know. Still to this day, there’s a lot of things I really appreciate and admire about the experiences I was able to go through but still a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth.
I definitely wish the results were quite different and that I could have another go at them," Raonic told inews.co.uk. After being sidelined for nearly two full years, Raonic returned to tennis at the start of the grass season in 's-Hertogenbosch.
