No. 5 Texas Christian University defeated Tulsa Golden Hurricane 4-0 at the Bayard H. Friedman Indoor Tennis Center, qualifying for the ITA Indoor National Championships for the sixth consecutive time. The Horned Frogs took the doubles point in short order on courts two and three.
With the win, TCU moved to a 44-13 overall record inside the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center since coach David Roditi took over the program.

Fearnley and Pinnington. Duncan Chan and Lui Maxted grabbed double points for the Horned Frogs. The pair defeated Gus Tettamble and Victor Tosetto of Tulsa, 6-2. In singles, Fearnley produced a masterpiece, defeating Pierce Rollins 6-2, 6-0 in the top division.
The fifth-year senior was the first player to leave the field in all three of TCU's games this week. Jack Pinnington secured TCU's third point on court two, downing Thiago Pernas, 6-3, 6-3. In the first set, Pinnington was down 1-2 but won five of the next six games and took control of the match.
Maxted earned the decisive victory with a courageous performance against Callum Gale. Maxted, ranked 64th nationally, outlasted Gale in the first set 7-6 before pulling away in the second set with a 6-3 result.
