Aryna Sabalenka posted a picture taken with her best friend Paula Badosa and funnily asked her Instagram followers who has the better abs and if they look alike.

Sabalenka, 25, and 26-year-old Badosa have been close friends for quite some time and they often speak very highly of their friendship. In one of Instagram posts from last year, Sabalenka shared a picture with Badosa and captioned it: "Love this girl (heart emoji) #soulmate.

Over the weekend, Sabalenka acknowledged her friendship with Badosa once again by posting a training selfie.

"I have two questions... Whose abs are better?" Sabalenka asked, before adding: "I think definitely @paulabadosa (laughing emoji)."

Also, Sabalenka wanted her followers to answer her, "Do we look alike?"

Sabalenka considers Badosa her 'Tour soulmate'

On the Tour, close friendships are a rarity considering that those playing at the highest level regularly compete against each other and fight between them for the titles. In October, Sabalenka acknowledged that being very close with a Tour rival may be challenging in some ways but highlighted that she and Badosa have found a way in which whatever happens on the court can't impact their off-court friendship.

"It doesn't happen very often that you can find your soulmate on the circuit because we compete against each other. But we had this deal: on the court we are opponents, we can shout whatever we want, but off the court we are friends again," Sabalenka said of her friendship with Badosa in one of her interviews from late 2023.

"I'm super happy to have her. She is a very nice girl and having her by my side is very important to me."

Meanwhile, Badosa pulled out of this week's Abu Dhabi Open on Sunday, while Sabalenka is still taking her time off following her Australian Open win.

Sabalenka was scheduled to return to action in Doha next week but she withdrew from the tournament. Sabalenka will now likely return to action in Dubai in late February.
