ATP Finals: Novak Djokovic destroys Carlos Alcaraz! The highlights

36 years old, 24 Slam titles and continuous broken records: all this is not enough for Novak Djokovic, who in the semi-final of the 2023 edition of the ATP Finals destroys Carlos Alcaraz in straight sets, and has his sights set on a new sensational milestone.
The Serbian champion qualified for the final of the year-end Master by taking advantage of the young Spaniard's mistakes and, above all, showing an exceptional level of play. And an extraordinary determination. Djokovic gave Alcaraz a real tennis lesson, once again highlighting the difference with all the other tennis players on the ATP Tour.
If he were to beat Jannik Sinner in the final today, he would obtain the record of titles won in the Master Tournament.

"I always set goals for myself.
I want to win another Grand Slam. I want to finish the year as number one in the world. And next year I want to do well at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where I will represent my country. These are my most important goals for the future," he said on the eve of the Rolex Paris Masters.
In the end, Djokovic won that tournament, reaching Turin with two goals in mind: to end the year as ATP world no.1 and become the most successful man at the ATP Finals. Djokovic overwhelmed the Spaniard with a score of 6-3, 6-2 and reached his ninth final (like Ivan Lendl) at the Masters Tournament.
He will be Jannik Sinner's opponent this afternoon. For the Serbian it is the 20th success in the last 21 matches. Sinner took care of beating him a few days ago in the second Round Robin match. Despite a not too positive start, Djokovic soon gained the upper hand over his young opponent, unable to find the weapons to stop the Serb in the first sets.
In the second set there was more battle: in the middle there were three games in which we watched the highest level of play of the tournament, with spectacular shots and endless rallies. A crazy quality. But although Alcaraz raised the level of his game to produce maximum effort, it was not enough to undermine Djokovic's excessive power.
