The Tokyo 2020 gold medal called to close the games is not wrong. On the contrary. Against Alja Tomljanovic he leaves just three games on the road and with a very clear 6-2 6-1 he definitively closes the practice and gives the team a historic victory in the competition after the very bitter end of the last edition.
First trophy in what is the new Fed Cup: now Switzerland is among the nations to have won the team competition for national teams with both men and women. The one in the men's field dates back to 2014, when Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka led to success for the first time in history.

Sweet Swiss redemption 🇨🇭🏆
