An 18-year-old Jodie Anna Burrage from London, Great Britain, decided to join Collegiate tennis, despite being one of the best juniors in the world! Burrage will join the NCAA champions Florida Gators this fall, opting to prove her self in Collegiate tennis and earn an academic degree. This talented player was ranked 14th on the ITF junior list in January, and she won 6 singles titles, playing in some big finals as well.
Starting from 2014, Jodie Anna gathered some pro experience too, taking 11 wins and reaching the final of the $15,000 Sharm El Sheikh in March. In 2012, she lifted 3 G14 titles on clay, and she was victorious at some G18 events, despite being at the age of 14.
NCAA champions lost 3 great seniors and they will try to compensate that with Victoria Emma and Katarzyna Kubicz, who will join the Gators together with Burrage.
"Jodie completes another outstanding signing class for us.She is one of the most talented juniors in the world and although she knows there is much to learn still, she will certainly test the top tiers of college tennis. With the departure of three phenomenal seniors, I am delighted to begin the year with Victoria, Katie, and Jodie who all understand and believe in the Florida Way!"
