Tennis - Croatian Alja Tomljanovic is through to the semi-finals of the WTA Tomljanovic after a three-set win over American Madison Brengle. The seventh seeded Tomljanovic scored a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over the third seeded Brengle to move into the last four where she will meet former Top 20 player Yanina Wickmayer, who defeated Ukraine's Kateryna Bondarenko, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in another quarter-final.
Sixth seeded Christina McHale, from the United States, remains the highest seeded player left in the draw and she is through to the semi-finals after scoring a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 win over China's Zheng Saisai. McHale will meet Magda Linette for a place in the final as Linette defeated Chinese Tapiei's Hsieh Su-Wei, 6-3, 6-3 in another quarter-final.
