Carlos Alcaraz returned to the court with a victory, beating Ugo Carabelli in straight sets, at the ATP event in Buenos Aires. The Spanish tennis player spoke at the press conference not only about the match, but also about the comparison with the Big 3, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

"I don't want to make the same mistakes twice, I also said it after the match at Roland Garros with Djokovic. There are many matches and I want to improve despite the other downs. We're trying to grow, it must be said that after Wimbledon the season is not It went very well and I want to improve.

I don't consider myself a crack, but a very good tennis player. I am only 20 years old but I have already lived important moments and I have a certain experience. I consider Djokovic, Nadal and Federer to be cracks, to be like that you have to be good at everything and I still have a lot to improve. I still have a long way to go before I define myself as them," Carlitos admitted honestly.

I am of the opinion that no tennis player will ever match - not even in the future - what the Big 3 have done. Achieving what these three individual men have managed to do is almost impossible. Serena Williams and Steffi Graf have succeeded in the recent history of tennis. Matching their titles, their records and their numbers would be like climbing Everest without equipment for a normal person.

But Carlitos is a young and very talented tennis player. Can he aspire to reach the records of the Big 3? Very difficult, but he can go very close. I can't predict the future, I can't be certain that Carlitos will reach at least 20 Majors, but he could get close to that number. Can he match Pete Sampras' Slam titles? I believe - unless there are particular unfavorable astral conjunctions - that he can reach that Pistol Pete record.

Can Carlitos aspire to what the Big 3 have done?

On the eve of the tournament in Buenos Aires, Alcaraz analyzed: "I am very competitive and this is what pushes me to the highest levels to try to be at the same level as the Big Three. The truth is that I dream big and I want to be the best in history Novak Djokovic's 24 Slams represent a goal that I want to reach at the end of my career."

Alcaraz also revealed which skills he would steal from Federer, Djokovic and Nadal, in an interview with Olè.

"I'll take Djokovic's return, Federer's serve and Nadal's forehand. I don't know if I'll ask Roger for some advice, but I hope I can think of something to say to him! What I'm sure is that I'll get very nervous, that's clear I wish I had some time to talk to him, I've never had the chance and I would really appreciate it," he told.
