Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya has denied that recent Instagram posts she had updated were aimed at ex-boyfriend Nick Kyrgios. Kalinskaya had posted some updates on her social media account, featuring the captions “f***ing energy vampire” and “you’re not a bad boy, you’re simply a bad person”.
While many attributed the same to be related to Kyrgios, the Russian player has come out to clarify that those comments were not related to him. Last week, Kalinskaya had admitted on Instagram that the pair had broken up and said they were no longer in touch.
During an interaction with her fans on social media, the Russian was asked about Kyrgios and she said, “We broke up. We aren’t friends. “I understand you are his friends and it’s cool but I’m not going to talk about him.
Have some respect for me as well please”. Kalinskaya was a regular feature on Kyrgios’ Instagtam story over the past few months, including a photo of the pair at an LA Lakers game. Kyrgios was spotted cheering her on from the stands at the Citi Open in Washington last August and since then the rumours began that they have been dating.
Speaking to Confidential, the Russian player says, “He did nothing. He is a good person and I didn't mean to comment about him”. “I don't know why people think it’s about him. He is a great player and nice person”.
