Elise Mertens beat Jasmine Paolini in the final of the Jasmin Open to clinch the title. The Belgian’s now won in Monastir twice consecutively. Last year, too, Mertens had claimed the WTA 250 title. Against Paolini, Mertens needed an hour and 10 minutes to post a 6-3, 6-0 victory.
