Anstasia Pavlyuchenkova shared words about the Ukrainian-Russian war
A few months ago, the tennis player talked about her about her feelings about the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova had entrusted her response to the Russian invasion to her Twitter account. She wrote: "I have been playing tennis since I was a child. I have represented Russia all my life. This is my home, my country.
But now I am completely scared, as are my friends and family. But I am not afraid to make my position known. I am against war and violence. Personal ambitions or political motivations cannot justify violence. This not only takes the future away from us, but also from our children.
I am confused and I don't know how to help myself in this situation. I'm just a tennis player. I don't work in politics, I'm not a public figure and I have no experience in this area. I can only publicly show my disagreement with the decisions made and speak out about them.
Stop the violence, stop the war. " Unfortunately, the war went on, with thousands of deaths and displaced people on both sides, with destructions and engaging energy consequences for a large part of the world. With the fear of a nuclear attack in the background which, on the horizon, becomes darker and more threatening.
