"28 years of practices. Over 25 serious injuries. No Xmas, no birthdays or New Year's Eve. Over 1.000.000 km travelled. A life filled with tears, pains, doubt, tough defeats! And then at some point in this journey this smile from the soul makes it all worthwhile!
Congrats @soranacirstea. It's overdue and long deserved!" Tiriac Jr. wrote on Instagram Stories. In the US Open quarterfinals, Sorana Cirstea will face Karolina Muchova, who eliminated Storm Hunter, Magdalena Frech, Taylor Townsend, and Xinyu Wang.
Cirstea's honest message to Rybakina after upsetting her

I’ve lost twice against her before, and she’s a very good player. It's a great win for me, especially because I played well and I really think I gave everything I had tonight and I deserved this win. And again, thank you everyone for the support," Cirstea said after beating Rybakina.
Sorana also felt great about the American crowd as well. “I have been playing for quite a few years, and this was the best crowd I’ve ever played in front of, so thank you,” she said. “It’s a great win for me, especially because I played well, and I really think I gave everything I had tonight, and I deserve this win”.
