The draws in women's tennis are already spectacular in these first days of 2024! The WTA 250 in Auckland opens the women's season together with the tournament currently taking place in Brisbane and the United Cup in Sydney and Perth.

And the participation field in New Zealand is also very respectable with the winner of the 2022 US Open Coco Gauff as the seed number 1. The return of the 2021 US Open winner Emma Raducanu is also highly anticipated.

There is an absolutely important first round between another of the greats returning to the circuit, namely Carolina Wozniacki, and the number 2 seed, the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina.

The Auckland tournament, which starts on January 1st with the final on Sunday January 7th, sees Coco Gauff as the favourite, present as the first seed and paired with countrywoman Claire Liu in the first round. For those who win a qualifier or the Czech Bouzkova.

In the first quarter with Gauff, Gracheva is the top seed. The second quarter of the draw is dominated as seeded by Emma Navarro (number 4) and Petra Martic (number 7).

In the bottom half of the draw we will see a third quarter opened by the Chinese Xinyu Wang and closed by the Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, third seed in the New Zealand tournament.

The last segment of the draw as mentioned is characterized by a high-quality first round between the former world number 1 and Slam champion Caroline Wozniacki and Elina Svitolina. Whoever wins this match should face Emma Raducanu when she returns after the stop since last April and will make her debut against a qualified player.

Also interesting in this quarter is the presence of a challenge between Anstasia Pavlyuchenkova and Amanda Anisimova.
