Petra Kvitova told the Czech press that she won't change her first name in the WTA Tour to not create confusion. "Let's not complicate it," Kvitova told Czech publication Radiozurnal. Kvitova married her coach Jiri Vanek, who was also Karolina Pliskova's coach in the past, on the 22nd of July.
Petra got congratulated by many female tennis stars, including Iga Swiatek, Angelique Kerber, and Billie Jean King.
Kvitova got engaged a year ago at Wimbledon. "Happy news we wanted to share with you guys… I said ‘yes’ in my special place,” said Kvitova at the moment.
