No. 12 Texas A&M men's tennis team defeated South Carolina 4-1, advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2024 ITA National Team Indoor Championships, at USTA Billie Jean King Friday at the National Tennis Center.
The Aggies will face No. 2 TCU today for the opportunity to advance to the semifinals for the first time since the 2018 season. TCU swept Arizona State, to qualify for the quarterfinals.

The Aggies started with losses on Courts 1 and 3 in doubles, only to lose 1-0 heading into singles. JC Roddick secured the first point for the Aggies in singles, winning in straight sets on Court 2 against Casey Hoole. Giulio Perego continued with an upset victory over Jelani Sarr.

Togan Tokac extended the lead for the Maroon & White with a thrilling win on Court 3 that went all the way in the second set against James Story. Raphael Perot won the match for A&M, defeating Toby Samuel.

TCU swept Arizona State 4-0, yesterday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Horned Frogs dominated doubles and singles, taking the opening set on all six courts. TCU then clinched with baseline sweeps.

Jake Fearnley and Jack Pinnington were the first Horned Frog duo to finish, defeating Arizona State's Vergara Del Puerto and Murphy Cassone 6-1. Duncan Chan and Lui Maxted grabbed the doubles point for the Horned Frogs, as the 20th-ranked pair defeated Bullard and Constantinos Koshis 6-3. Chan and Maxted are 5-0 in doubles this season.
Sebastian Gorzny gave the Horned Frogs a 2-0 lead with a 6-0, 6-2 triumph over Martin Vergara Del Puerto on court four. Lui Maxted earned a second-set tiebreaker, 7-5, against Jacob Bullard in the fifth flight, earning a 6-3, 7-6 victory. Tomas Jirousek won the match in the sixth round, beating Roi Ginat 7-5, 6-3.

Coach David Roditi analyzed after the match: "Good start for the National Indoors. We played well and got the double points. TCU has now won 10 consecutive ITA National Indoor Championships matches. Friday's win increased Roditi's career tournament record to 16-8. TCU has captured 32 straight indoor duals, including four straight against ranked opponents.
