The 3rd seed Casper Ruud needed 69 minutes to oust Gianluca Mager, dropping only 12 points in nine service games and delivering four breaks to control the result and seal the deal in style. Ilya Ivashka toppled the 5th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-1, 6-3 in 72 minutes, fending off all nine break chances and delivering four breaks to move into the quarters.
