The rising Briton Jack Draper hopes for an injury-free season in 2024, hoping to embrace an entire year and improve his ranking. Jack praised his fellow youngsters who wrapped up the year in the top-10, hoping to challenge Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune in the future.

Draper confessed his frustration while watching the Wimbledon final, witnessing the second Major crown for the 20-year-old Alcaraz. The world's best players, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz met in the title clash at The All England Club.

The Serb was the favorite, but the Spaniard prevailed 1-6, 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in four hours and 42 minutes, becoming the third-youngest Wimbledon champion! Carlos fired 66 winners and 45 unforced errors, winning one point more than Novak and playing well in the decider.

The encounter offered 34 break chances, and each rival scored five breaks, with a massive battle until the closing stages. A seven-time champion made a perfect start, storming over his young opponent in the opening set and taking it in 34 minutes.

Djokovic also squandered a set point in set number two, probably the pivotal one of the final. Novak bounced back in the fourth set and had a chance at the beginning of the decider, but it was not to be for him. Everything worked well for the more experienced player in the first set, taking charge on the return and building the advantage.

Novak led 3-0 in the second set's tie break and created a set point with a backhand winner at 5-5. Djokovic missed a couple of backhands, and the young gun clinched the breaker 8-6 for a massive boost. The Serb sprayed almost 20 unforced errors in the third set and suffered three breaks, the number of service games he conceded before the final!

Jack Draper spoke about the Wimbledon final and how it felt for him.

The fifth game secured a place in Wimbledon history with 32 points and 27 minutes of a grueling battle! The game saw 13 deuces, Novak's numerous game points and seven break chances for the young gun!

Carlos seized the last when Novak netted a forehand to earn an enormous boost. Novak took an extended break and made a fresh start in the fourth set. The defending champion saved two break points in the second game and turned the tables.

The Serb clinched breaks in games five and nine to wrap up the set 6-3 and force a decider. They missed a break point in games one and two before Carlos secured a break in game three after an incredible point and a backhand down the line winner.

Alcaraz served for the title at 5-4 and held at 30 after forcing Djokovic's error, celebrating his career-best moment and the second Major crown at 20. "There are two sides to the story. I'm happy for Alcaraz, Sinner and Rune.

They are great young players, and I understand you must put into the sport to achieve what they have at an early age. I respect and admire what they have been doing. On the other hand, I missed Wimbledon due to a shoulder injury, so I stayed at home and watched Alcaraz battling against Novak Djokovic.

It was frustrating to see a young player achieving amazing things because of the competitor in me," Jack Draper said.
