ATP Montreal 2022: Sebastian Baez stuns Nick Kyrgios with a super Tweener!

Sebastian Baez surprised everyone and took the applause of the crowd present in the stands at the end of a truly incredible rally, at the ATP Montreal 2022. He is already one of the best points of the tournament: Nick Kyrgios managed to open the field and tried to close with a good volley; the Argentine invented a sensational lob tweener, which overtook the Australian and gave him the point.

In the end, however, Baez had to surrender to the Canberra native, able to win in two sets with a double 6-4 and to reach the second round, the next rival will be the number one in the world Daniil Medvedev.
At the end of the match Kyrgios said: "At the moment I am tired and these days I am not even able to train as I would like. I am surprised at the level I was able to express today against a player who is in the best year of his career.
I am happy with the victory and above all that I have achieved what everyone wanted: the challenge with Medvedev. It will not be easy to face the challenge. I'm not 100% and I hope that somehow he feels tired too. I also hope that the temperatures are not too low and that the ball can get out of the stringbed faster, this would help me to be in control.
