How to introduce tennis to young people: Eugenie Bouchard and Felix Auger-Aliassime think about it, through the Rogers First Set, the new Canadian national program. Tennis Canada announced the schedule on their Instagram account on Friday, July 28.

Tennis Canada and the Rogers communication company have started this new project involving the two tennis superstars. Two tennis players who are also very active on their social media. Tennis Canada wrote on Instagram: "Introducing Rogers First Set!

This game-changing national program will introduce Canadian youth to the sport of tennis. Designed to inspire communities across Canada to try and learn fundamental tennis skills in a fun, welcoming, and safe environment , Rogers First Set will simplify the pathway for youth tennis and make it more accessible!"

Eva Havaris, Vice-President of Participation and Partnerships at Tennis Canada, explained: "Tennis is a sport that you can enjoy for your whole life and we are eager to make it more available for young people and to welcome new families to tennis in a way that is enjoyable, secure, and inclusive for everyone.

Our next step is to use the opportunity of our world-class National Bank Open presented by Rogers events in Toronto and Montreal to raise awareness and interest before we launch the program nationally in 2024." Auger-Aliassime wrote via an Instagram story: "Great program to help grow the game at home." Genie added: "Exciting news for Canadian tennis!" Rogers First Set will use different rackets, balls and court sizes according to the skill levels of the young players.

The program will also focus on whole person development, including character, confidence, connections and competence
