Lorenzo Musetti and his partner Veronica Confalonieri are awaiting the birth of their son, scheduled for the next March. This is great news for the Italian tennis player, who will face this new and exciting adventure in 2024.
The wonderful news surprised and excited all the fans of the young tennis player. In an interview given to the Italian newspaper La Nazione, Musetti revealed what his son will be called. The name chosen by the couple is Ludovico.
The Italian let slip the small detail - which has not yet emerged publicly - when asked what he thought about after the Davis Cup victory in Malaga. "To my family, to the many sacrifices they made to get me here, to my girlfriend Veronica and to my son Ludovico who will be born next year.
Until the end I never thought we had made it, in tennis you never say never. Much of the credit goes to Sinner," said the young Italian tennis player. We are waiting to understand the precise period in which Ludovico's birth will take place: for now we know that the birth is scheduled for March '24.
Meanwhile, at this stage, the couple can enjoy some well-deserved rest together, naturally in the company of little Ludovico. Tennis World USA staff wish all the best to the couple!
Musetti will come back in 2024 with a new member in his staff
Musatti is trying to live up to all the expectations placed on him, and is expected to make a fairly important leap in quality, after a season with some ups and downs.
To face next season, Lorenzo will rely on Corrado Barazzutti, who will work alongside coach Simone Tartarini. As for his commitments in the ATP Tour, Musetti should leave for America at the end of February to play the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami, before concentrating on the clay part of the season in Europe.
