After he saw how Alexander Bublik offended Dominic Thiem during the first round of the US Open, currently recovering Nick Kyrgios couldn't help but call out Bublik's faulty behavior. "This is low key horrible," Kyrgios tweeted on X.

Reportedly, in an act of frustration, Bublik described Thiem and players like him as "disabled." Dominic Thiem made a comeback to the professional circuit after being kept away from the court by an injury.

The match between them and Bublik ended 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 for the Austrian.

Thiem's words after his win

The victory over Bublik is a very special one for Thiem.

"It was a very good match basically from the first moment on. It's a pretty special victory, because it's the first since two-and-a-half years at Grand Slams," Thiem said. "It was a very good road for me. Especially personally I was learning a lot, so I don't want to miss anything in this road, but obviously tennis-wise or sports-wise was not easy all the time.

So that's why I'm even happier that I got the win today. First win on Grand Slam since a while. I had some good previous weeks as well with the first finals after the injury. So it's feeling good, and I'm really looking forward to the next one." In his next match, Dominic Thiem, who won the US Open in 2020, will face Ben Shelton.

The young American won in four sets against Pedro Cachin.
