The BGL Luxembourg Open is a women's tennis tournament that takes place in the city of Luxembourg, precisely in the hamlet of Kockelscheuer which is located a few kilometers from the capital.
Since 2009 it has been part of the International category. Kim Clijsters holds the winning record with five hits (1999, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005). The 2020 edition is not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2021 edition is the last in collaboration with the WTA of the tournament which is no longer comfortable with the women's professional organization and decides to return to the origins of its history with exhibition tournaments.
