The World Health Organization recommends walking at least 10 000 steps a day. This is easier said than done…so here are 7 tips to help you get to your 10 000 steps.
1. WALK WHILE YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH Instead of standing still while brushing your teeth, take a walk around the house. You will be amazed how many steps you can accumulate in those three minutes.
2. SKIP A STOP If you take a bus or tram to work, get out at the stop before the one closest to your work. This way, you get to walk the last bit and rack up those steps!
