The inspiration for this article came to me a few days ago when, at my club, they were disputing the final stages of the tennis junior Masters.
On the court, two under 12 players among the best ones in Lombardy were facing each other, and the score was 2 – 2.
They were 40-all and, since in junior tournaments there’s the no-ad rule which means you don’t play advantages, they were playing a direct point.
