Caroline Garcia won the Poland Open title on Sunday after besting Ana Bogdan in the final. The Frenchwoman needed 81 minutes to complete a 6-4, 6-1 win. Garcia, who was seeded fifth in the draw, won 72% of her first-serve points to the Romanian's 47% and 54% of her second-serve points and 56% of points on return on her opponent's second serve.
Garcia saved three of the five break points she faced while going on to convert five of the seven break points she had on Bogdan's serve. For the match, Garcia finished with 63 points, 21 more than Bogdan's 42.

Garcia's now won two titles this season after having gone without winning any for over three years.
Her first this year came at the Bad Homburg Open before Wimbledon. Overall, this was the ninth title of the 28-year-old’s career. This week had been quite euphoric for the former no. 4 in the world who ousted the world no.
1 Iga Swiatek in the last-eight. The defeated brought an end to the Pole's – who was the overwhelming favourite in the event played in her nation – streak of 18 matches on clay. In fact, her match against Swiatek was the only one in which Garcia lost a set.
Following her win at the Poland Open, Caroline Garcia will gain 13 spots in the WTA rankings on 1st August, Monday and will be placed in the 32nd spot. Meanwhile, Ana Bogdan who'd made an appearance in a final of a WTA event for the first time in her career will climb 33 spots and will be ranked 59th.
