Stan Wawrinka says he would be "astonished" if someone beat Novak Djokovic at this year's Wimbledon. On Friday, two old rivals - Wawrinka and Djokovic - met again. But unlike in some of their previous Grand Slam meetings, this one didn't feature a five-set thriller as Djokovic ousted Wawrinka 6-3 6-1 7-6 (5) in the Wimbledon third round.
In the third-set tie-break, Wawrinka had a 5-3 lead before Djokovic won the next four points to seal a straight-set win. "As I expected, it was tough to play against him (Djokovic). Not the same level of confidence, not the same level in everything.
In the end, three mistakes in a row, was not the best moment to do that," Wawrinka said after the match, via Tennis Majors.

Wawrinka: I'd be astonished if someone beat Djokovic
"Djokovic is the best in the world.
Someone can beat him. One match can lead to many scenarios. But I would be astonished to see it here," Wawrinka added.

Up by a break, Djokovic held on to his service for the remainder of the first set to clinch the opener. After winning the first set, Djokovic started the second set with back-to-back breaks and a 4-0 lead.
In the seventh game - when Wawrinka was serving to stay in the second set - Djokovic broke the Swiss for the third time in the set to open a two-set lead. In the third set, not a single break point was seen as a tie-break had to resolve the set.
In the tie-break, Djokovic had a 3-1 lead before Wawrinka won four points in a row to take a 5-3 lead. But after Wawrinka won four points in a row, Djokovic responded by doing the same and sealing a three-set win.
