Carlos Alcaraz is spending his consecutive 74th week in the top-2. The Spaniard survived in the elite group despite the quarter-final loss at the Australian Open, keeping Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner behind. The 20-year-old is the 12th player since the start of the ATP ranking in 1973 with 74 straight top-2 weeks on his tally, joining the most notable names in the Open era.

Carlos passed Gustavo Kuerten, leaving a charismatic Brazilian on 73 and chasing Lleyton Hewitt's 87. Ten players have managed to achieve 100 consecutive weeks in the top-2, and Alcaraz will have to work hard in the upcoming months to remain on that path, having many points to defend in February and March.
