Caroline Garcia just this week stumbled upon Roger Federer's interview with Trevor Noah as the French tennis star admits it would be "a dream" to get a coffee with the Swiss tennis icon.

Last December, Federer was hosted by Noah on The Daily Show. On the show, Federer talked about various topics and very honestly touched on his career, his decision to retire, his Laver Cup farewell, and post-tennis life.

Garcia, the 2022 WTA Finals champion, somehow missed out on Federer's interview when it aired in early 2022 December.

"How did I miss @rogerfederer interview with @Trevornoah from last year! Roger is such an inspiration. One of dream is probably to get a coffee with him and talk about life, tennis, inspiration, way through life, way, getting a member card to Wimbledon... Anything really! Garcia wrote on X.

During his conversation with Noah, Federer revealed in detail how he contacted Nadal to tell him about his plans to retire. Federer described it as a very "emotional conversation" and revealed that Nadal was the person outside his family who got to learn about his plans to retire.

“I was hoping to play doubles with Rafa. So I called him after the US Open and it was an emotional conversation because it was the first time I spoke about my decision (my retirement) with someone outside of my family. I had to call him and say ‘Hey, Rafa, before you make any other plans, I’d like you to come to Laver Cup and play with me in my last doubles match. It would be great because *cries*, unfortunately, *cries*, my knee isn’t fine, and I think this is the end, you know?” Federer said on The Daily Show last year.

After teaming up with Nadal in his final match, Federer broke down in tears. Seeing Federer cry also made Nadal emotional as the Spaniard also broke down in tears in one moment.
